A message to our contributors...

With the help of financial contributions from the community to the Mechanicsville Youth Lacrosse Club (MYLC), we have been able to field and outfit lacrosse teams for the several years. With sponsorships and assistance from businesses throughout the community, we have expanded our club to include two younger age divisions.  We are now shaping over 80 youth athletes between the ages of 5 and 14 from northern St. Mary's and Charles Counties. As the popularity of lacrosse continues to grow in Southern Maryland, we hope to provide the opportunity to experience this sport to even more of our young athletes.

Due to the success of our club and the demonstrated interest in Boys Youth Lacrosse in our community, we continue as a full member of the Southern Maryland Youth Lacrosse League (SMYLA). We also continue to fulfill all the requirements of the St. Mary's County Recreation and Parks for a youth sports organization.

In order to continue to bring this sport to Northern St.Mary's County and potentially expand, we request your continuing support.  Any financial contribution you can provide will be greatly appreciated. 

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the State of Maryland, Tax ID Number 20-5706103.

In return for the support of local business, we will recognize our sponsors on our web page as well as display banners at all events and competitions.  We are willing to promote your business by placing logos on event flyers, mentions in newsletters, emails, distribution of promotional materials and on our Facebook page.  We are also open to alternative options you may suggest for your company.

We hope that you will strongly consider providing your support and hope to build a long term mutually beneficial relationship.  Local sports are truly a community effort.  Hope to see you at a game.  Our home field is behind Lettie Marshall Dent Elementary School.
